Minnesota, Sebeka June 16 - 22

Sebeka Minnesota.  My brother James and his wife Bev live just south east of the town.  They moved up here a few years ago from the Twin Cities, and love it.  The four of us played many games of cards, and ate a lot of good food in the 6 days we camped in his yard.  Kay and I did get a chance to kayak the Crow Wing River while we were there.  That was a good trip.  We were on the river for about 4 hours.

We parked our camper alongside Jim's house.  This made for some very cheap rent.

Max and Zoe liked the soft grass.

Jim let me drive his riding lawn mower.  It took me about 3 hours to mow his yard.

We did eat some meals on this table, but mostly we sat here and played cards.  That is Many hours of cards.

The next few pictures are some of Bev's flowers she has in her yard.

This was our launch point for the  Crow Wing River.

They call this bridge the Mary Brown for some reason I do not know.

I took this picture of  this Dragonfly that had landed on my kayak.  There were so many of them on the river.

This is the only eagle we saw on the river.  Was hoping for more.

On the other side of this Hwy 15 bridge is our take out point.  Was a very good and relaxing trip.

This herd of Bison is near Sebeka, just south of Jim's home.

We went into Sebeka to see the parade,  As  you  can tell Jim is very interested in what is going on.

I thought this Case 550 was interesting tractor to have in the parade.
