Azronia, Ehrenberg Feb-28 - Mar-07, 2015

We have now moved north up the Colorado River to The Arizona Oasis RV Resort,  Ehrenberg, AZ  We are meeting up with John & Terry Edwards and Mark & Mary Nichols.  Time to kayak the river again.

Kay took this picture of me and the camper as she was following behind.  We are on hwy 78 in California.

John - Terry - Mark and Marty drove down here to check out the water level at the take out point.

This will be our take out point for the kayak run.  We named this pick-up point the Crazy Lady Slue.

I find the reflection of the Humming bird in the window quite amazing.  There were so many hummingbirds in the park, we loved watching them.

Here we are launching the kayaks from the boat ramp of the campground.  The water levels of the river varies every day.  This day the river level was about as low as I have ever seen it.  We will have to be careful not to hit any sandbars that are exposed by the low water.  Kay did hit one on her way down the river.

This is the bridge for Hwy-10 between Arizona and California.

Kay was talking to the people with bikes on the bridge.  They said they were going to ride them all the way to Florida.

I did go and buy a one day fishing license for twenty $20.00.  Thought that was to much for it, but Kay said I could not fish unless I had one.
