Texas, Canyon Lake Oct. 23 - 30

Lake Pointe Resort in Canyon Lake, Texas.  This stop was kinda a rest stop, we did not do very much here.  We did meet Mark and Mary one day for lunch.  They were staying at a park just a few miles away for a couple of months.

 Canyon Lake, Texas

 We remember from our first visit to this park about 10 years ago, all the little deer in this park.  

 Our dogs loved the deer also.

 Max and Zoe got out of the camper one day and had a blast running the deer all over the park.  Boy they sure were pooped when we finally caught them and took them back to the camper.

 I have no idea what this nasty looking spider is.  I took the picture by the front step of the camper.

 Kay and I met Mark and Mary Nichols for lunch here at Granny D's.  Kay and I had lunch there the day before, and it was so good, we had to come back.

 We took a drive to Wimberley, which is north of Canyon Lake.  This is Cypress Creek.

 The Cypress Trees are just turning color, and made for some awesome pictures.

 It is interesting to see the new little trees growing out of old stumps.

 Of course Zoe had to have her picture taken also.
