Colorado, Greeley April 26-30

It has been a good year of traveling this wonderful country of ours, Aug 1, 2011 - May 1, 2012.  We met lots of new friends and did a lot of kayaking.  We drove 14,183 miles and went thru 19 different states. But it is always good to be back home in Colorado. We do miss the family while we travel, but hopefully this Blog can keep them in touch with us as we travel. It is a good life on the road, and we both enjoy it very much. We are going to make a short stop in Greeley CO where Marty's sisters Marilyn and Noreen live.  We park the camper out at Noreen's farm, in her driveway.  Lots of room, but is is a bit hairy getting out of the yard.  This way we can see our northern Colorado family before we head south to Wheat Ridge.

This is Evie Gavette.  She is Noreen's youngest granddaughter.  We went to her soccer game one morning.
Evie throwing in the ball after it went out of bounds.
She sure gets into the game.

Sitting on the left is Bob then Noreen, and finally Brion Gavette,  who is the father of Evie.
Tyler Gavette, Noreen's grandson.  He is a very good baseball player.
Tyler sliding into second base.  You know he is safe because you can see the baseball about 4 feet in front of the second baseman.
