Arozina, Bullhead City Apr 29 - May 6

Ridgeview RV Park in Bullhead City, AZ will be our last stop this year with Dick and Bonnie.  They will be going back to Surprise and we will be headed for Denver. The one thing I can say about Bullhead City, they have wind, and lots of wind.  It blew hard every day we were here.  I hate wind.  We were going to kayak the Colorado River, but toooooo much wind.  We were going to put Dick's pontoon boat in the river, toooooo much wind.  We did go to the casinos in Laughlin to play and eat many times.

The local Roadrunner, kept the dogs busy hunting for him.
One of the little bays by the dam.
The bridge across the Colorado River, which was blocked off to traffic.
A view of the Davis Dam on the Colorado River.
Dick checking out one of the boat launches.
We drove into Henderson, NV to visit our friends Drew and Terrie Tracey.  Drew and I were in the Airforce together.  Had a great lunch with them.  Unfortunately we only get to see them about once every couple of years.
This is the road back to Bullhead City.  Not much to see.
Kay got to drive back to the camper.
A view of Bullhead City from the top of the pass.
This is a walkway across the road.  For what I could not tell you.  Guess the state needed to spend some money somewhere.
A view of Laughlin from the top of the pass.
Some of the casinos along the river on the NV side.

  1. We stayed in Bullhead City earlier this year and it was windy then, too. We were at the Grand Canyon yesterday and the wind was 40 mph on the south rim. It's windy everywhere! You guys have a safe trip back home. We are headed to Greeley. We might see you on the road next year.
