Bob and I played poker at least two times a week. Kay and Marty, Bob and Irm went to play bingo just about every Friday night. We met a lot of new friends in the 4 months we stayed here. We may come back next spring for a couple of months. All in all it was a nice way to spend the winter.

This is just one of the many cactus that were in bloom in the park.
We went to Friday night bingo with Bob and Irm just about every week. The last time we went, I finally hit a winner on the two bingo's any way. I won $62.00, But had to spend over $180.00 over the four months to do it. It was a lot of fun playing with the Mitchell's.
Captain Dick. Dick and Bonnie took their pontoon boat out to Lake Pleasant. It was so nice to travel around the lake. What a fun day.

Kay - Marty - Maxwell - Zoe drove up into the hills north east of Surprise one afternoon.

We had a birthday party at Dick and Bonnie's home. Bob birthday is on April 14th, Marty's is on the 15th and Renee's, Bonnie's daughter, has a birthday soon too. So we did it all at the same time.

It was a nice cake I picked out for the party.
The main street at Happy Trails. This RV park was as clean and well kept as any park Kay and I have stayed at. We are thinking of coming back next year for a couple of months.

These two ducks would fly alongside the boat, then land in the water. They would take off again, and fly alongside of the boat. They did that about 6 times. Guess they were looking for something to eat.

Kay and I went to Jim's several times for good burgers and sandwiches while we were in Surprise. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time.
