California, Desert Hot Springs Nov 29 - Dec 6

We are meeting Dick and Bonnie at Desert Pools RV Resort in Desert Hot Springs.  They are coming from Surprise, AZ.  The last time we were with them was in British Columbia, Canada in August.  The campground here is noted for its natural hot springs pools.  They tap the hot water from about 300 feet under ground, cool the water, and then run it into three different tubs.  the first one is about 104 degrees and then down to about 100, the coolest around 98.   We really enjoy the hot pools at this park.  The four of us did a lot of touring in the area and ate out a bunch of times.  We also went to the Palm Springs Follies.

But we had to stop and eat before the show.  The food at this restaurant was very good.  Dick and I had the pork chops, some of the best I have ever eaten

This is inside of the theater.  Our seats were in the second row.  Wonderful seats and what a great show they put on.  The cast members are all senior citizens some into their 80's.  Sure wish I could move that well.

After the follies, we walked down the street and found Marilyn.  She is about 20 feet tall.

I had to take a picture of her foot.  Don't ask my why because I could not tell you.

One of the many windmills here in the valley.  There are thousands of them with lots of wind to make them go.
