Arizona, Ehrenberg Dec 6 - 15

We are now at the Colorado River Oasis in Ehrenberg AZ.  This will be our last chance to kayak the Colorado River for this year.  We are staying here for 9 days, time to relax and do nothing except play texas-holdum and bingo.  We both really like this campground.  We can see the Colorado River from our back window.  Not a bad way to live I think.

Ehrenberg, Arizona
There is a county park about 7 miles up the road from the campground, where we launched the kayaks from.  The river is running quite fast so it should not take us to long to get back to the campground.  It is nice having two vehicleps now, we can drive the car back up to get the truck with out trying to find someone to help us.

What a good trip.
Kay, The water looks calm but it is moving at a good rate.
Looking west off the river.
Kay loves to take pictures of flowers, but could not find any so any old bush will do for her.
Getting close to the campground.
Kay read about the Blythe Intaglios and found out it was only 15 miles from the campground.  So off we went on an adventure to find them.  This is a picture of the plaque as we started our hike to them.

This is what it looks like standing on the ground

We had to hike up the hill, which was not to bad.
Another bush, no flowers.
