Nebraska, Fort Robinson June 21-25

Fort Robinson State Park is located in the northwest corner of Nebraska.  Kay and I have been there several times, and loved it each time we come.  This trip is with our RV group The Hi Country Campers from Colorado.  It had been a long time since we got to do a camp out with them. As usual we had a great time.

Frank had a little trouble with his awning, so the whole gang had to help him fix it.  Team work.

A view of the play house.  We went to two plays with the group while we were here.  Oklahoma and Grease, both were very good.
Some of the long horn steers they keep here at the Fort.
We took a ride around the Fort property and came across this scene .  Makes one feel like home.
A view of the bluffs west of the Fort.
It is rodeo time.  Bonnie, Vera, Doug, and Linda getting to the bleachers.
 One of the cowboys.
Team roping,  the calf won this round.
There were a lot of cowgirls in the team roping event.
 Cowboy Marty
We took a jeep ride up the bluffs.
This herd of buffalo is on the Fort property.  We were told that they raise all the buffalo served at the fort restaurant.
