British Columbia, Canada, Fairmont Hot Springs July 7-11

Our first stop in  Canada is at Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia.  Crossing the border into Canada was a piece of cake.  They asked a few questions and than let us go.  Fairmont Hot Springs is a good place to stop and soak in the hot waters.  The campground was very clean and neat.  This will be a good place to spend a couple of days just resting up.

The interesting thing about this picture is the reflection in the window.
This view is looking out our door of the camper.  What a beautiful place.
Not a bad site,
This rose bush is along side Dick and Bonnie's motorhome
Looking at our camper from Dick's camper
A view of the pools.  They had a hot and cold pool, although the cold pool wasn't really cold but very pleasant on a hot day.
Another shot of the pools
What can I say............I don't tan very well.
Dick soaking up some of the sun
Bonnie soaking a lot of the sun
Kay and the dogs hiked down into this canyon to the hot pools.  As you can see, I stayed at the top of the canyon to take the picture.  This waterfall was within the campground.
Kay loves her flowers
Some of the wild daisies that grew all around the park
On Sunday morning they had a wonderful brunch at the clubhouse.  Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and both Bonnie and Marty loved the muscles.
Kay enjoying the goodies also
Now ain't that a happy couple

Kay and Marty did take a kayak trip down the Columbia River.  They put in very near the headwater os the Columbia.
Marty looking for the eagle
This is what he found.  This is a very handsome bird.
This is a strange looking beaver house.
A view along the river
The river here looks more like a lake than a river.
Just cruising along the river
This lily flower just about to pop open
This is the end of the kayak trip.  We loaded up the kayaks and got a ride back to the truck.  Was a good run.
