Indiana, Howe October 6 - 9, 2011

The Grand View Campground is located in Howe, IN.  It is about 8 miles from Sturgis, MI where our friends the Thomasma's live.  Also it is a few miles from the factory that made our Mobile Suites fifth-wheel.  I did go to the factory to pick up some sheet metal and paint for some minor repairs to the camper.  Here is an interesting fact, the serial number on our camper is 2003-771  The one I looked at in the factory was 2011-6688.  That's a lot of campers.  Ours still looks very good for being over 8 years old.

The Blue Gate restaurant has very good Amish food.  We ate here with Paul on our way out to Canton, OH in 2004 for John Elway's induction to the football hall of fame.  The food was as good as ever.
Fall arrangements outside of the restaurant.

The mums are so pretty this time of the year.

Kay and Elizabeth Thomasma, our friend from Denver,  she retired from EDS and moved back home to Sturgis, MI
Rod and Michelle, Michelle is Elizabeth's niece.  We kind of adopted her when she lived in Denver.  They now live in Fort Wayne, IN
Some of the Indiana colors.

Had to take a picture of the chickens.  We found them along side the driveway at a little restaurant Elizabeth took us to.  I mean it was really out in the country hidden away in the woods.
We stopped at a county park to walk around.
