We came down to Perham from International Falls for a few days to meet my sister Marilyn and her daughter Rae Ann and her children. We are all getting ready for a big surprise birthday party for my brother Jim. Perham is about 23 miles from Sebeka, MN where the party will be. As far as we know, Jim does not have any idea of what is going on about the party.
Our campsite was very big and green. Most of the time we were alone in this part of the campground. |
A war memorial in a small town (forgot which one) on our way to Perham |
Flowers outside of the visitor center at Perham |
Kay liked this farm that was located right next to a lake, so I had to take a picture of it. |
Just keeping cool. |
We found this boat dock on our scouting trip to launch our kayaks. So we came back the next day to kayak this lake. |
The edge of the lake at the launch site. |
Was a good day to go fishing. |
Kay found this beautiful water lily. She does like her flowers. |
Cattails along the shore |
A loon which is Minnesota's state bird. |
This Northern Pike is not very big, but I can say I got a fish in this lake. |
I will never get tired of taking pictures of eagles. |

Grace just finisher her s'mores. |
I even had to get into the s'mores eating |
Rae Ann - Grace - Aiden all in the pullout bed. Had a hard time getting them going that morning. |
