We came down to Perham from International Falls for a few days to meet my sister Marilyn and her daughter Rae Ann and her children. We are all getting ready for a big surprise birthday party for my brother Jim. Perham is about 23 miles from Sebeka, MN where the party will be. As far as we know, Jim does not have any idea of what is going on about the party.

| We took a drive around the countryside just to see what was out there. We found this young eagle sitting in a tree by one of the many lakes in this area. An eagle is somewhere between 3 and 5 years old before they get their white feathers. |

| We found this boat dock on our scouting trip to launch our kayaks. So we came back the next day to kayak this lake. |

| My sister Marilyn flew into Minneapolis to meet up with her daughter Rae Ann. They then drove up to Perham where Kay and I were staying to spend the night with us. The next day we all went to Sebeka to surprise Jim for his birthday. Here Rae Ann and her daugther Grace are having hot dogs for supper. |
