Colorado, Wheat Ridge, Prospect Park Apr. 9 - May 23, 2014

Home again for six weeks to spend time with the Dow and Derr families, also to visit the Dr. & DDS. stuff like that.  We are staying at Prospect RV Park this year.  We like this park because it is convenient to the kids and everything we need to do. The park is next to the green belt which is great for walking the dogs.

Prospect RV Park, Wheat Ridge, Colorado
This is what you get when you are stupid enough to come home to Colorado in April.
It has been a long time since I left footprints in Colorado snow.  And I hope it will be another long time.

Steven and his new ride.

Springtime in the Rockies, with all the flowering trees.

Even the geese are mating.

A trip to Etcher's Garden Center to find some potted plants for Deana and Tina.

This is the flower I picked out for the girls.  Don't ask me what kind it is for I have no idea.  I thought it was weirdly wonderful.

I thought this display was nice.

Grandma and Jessica, two good looking women.

Art and Margie Hansen, good friends who are planning a trip to the west coast.  They had us over to dinner so we could give them tips on where to go and what to see on their vacation.  Sure hope they have a wonderful time.

Art's 31 Ford truck.  He sure did do a nice job on it.

Dick and Bonnie Kotrba.  They invited us to the Legion club to celebrate their daughter's 50th birthday.

Bob and Irmie Mitchell.  There is never enough time to go see them and play games as often as we'd like.  Irm always beats me anyway.

Poker night at my sister's home in Greeley.  This is a must whenever we get back to Colorado.  Here I am counting out the chips while Jack eats his supper.

Me, Sarah Stumbaugh, April Stumbaugh

The Brenkle family, Aubrey, Jack, Ashley and Jaxon.  What a beautiful family.

Laury Edwards and her son James, we met up for breakfast at the Ralston Cafe on Easter Sunday.  For some reason I didn't end up with a picture of Kay's brother Mike but he was there.
Dan and Kathy Edwards at the Ralston Cafe.

Trevor Derr

One of Paul's many squirrls.

This is our California Family.  Bridger - Kiah - Sam - Kaden - Michelle Harrison.  Michelle sent us these pictures.  We sure do miss them a bunch.

Kiah Harrison

This is Kaden's 18th Birthday.  Grandma and I got the bear for him before he was born.  Each year Michelle takes a picture of him with it.  In fact all of the grandkids have a birthday bear.

Jessica Derr out shoping for a dress for the prom with her mom and grandma.

Our beautiful Granddaughter Jessica Derr.

What a gorgeous dress she picked out.

Jessica and Uriah

Grandma had to get into the picture also.

Her shoes had to match her dress.  They did very well.

Our California Grandson Kaden Harrison and his prom date, XXXXX

Kaden and XXXX sitting in the back of her truck.

Kile Derr.  He is turning into a real good computer technician.  You should see the computer he and his Dad built.  The main processer in the computer is water cooled.  He has rebuilt his own computer several times by himself.

Richard Root, Tina's Dad.

The Derr Cat Izzy, what a big cat he is.

This is Sweetpea,  She is Zoe's friend

Nap time

Nap time for everybody.

Kay and Deana at the girls field day.

Gabby in the potato sack race.

Riley in the long jump.

Volley ball is Gabby's favorite sport.

Riley and some of her friends.

The ball race looks like one of the toughest events.

Riley's kindergarten class.

Grandma having a tea party with Gabby and Riley.  They even had to do the pinky finger thing.

Mother Day cards for Kay.  Even Riley had to make Grandma one.  The flowers in the back are from the Dow family.
Tina sent our grandson Steven to the store to pick out some flowers and a card for Grandma for Mother's Day.  This is one of the flowers he picked out.  The card in the center above is the one he got.  Love it.  He has very good taste.

Our friends John & Bunny took us to Bova's Italian restaurant for the first time.  The calzones were so good, we had to take Trevor and Tina here to eat.  This is the one Trevor got.  He made 4 meals out of it.

This is what drove my dogs nuts at the campground.  Each time we took the dogs walking Zoe had to  look under each camper in the park for them.  There were so many it was not funny.
