Oregon, Florence Sept 22 - 27

South Jetty Resort RV Park, Florence, Oregon was a nice relaxing stop.   We did not go kayaking but took the dogs to the beach several times.  Our next stop with be Klamath, CA.  I got my hair cut in Florence and the barber told me he was going down to Klamath fishing and wanted me to call him when we got there.  He was going to give us some fresh salmon.  We ate at Mo's restaurant where we had read was great clam chowder.  It was just so so chowder.

The boat dock at the restaurant.  We sat by the window and could see the sun setting on the water as we ate.  Nice.

We took a drive up Hwy 1 and stopped at this vista point.  The beach ran for miles.

One day we went  up the South side of the jetty to walk the dogs on the beach.

 



We also went up the north side of the jetty.  Lots of old logs on this side.

The dogs know when we pull up to a beach that they might get to run.  Maxwell starts to whimper and Zoe gets very excited.  They are very happy when we turn then loose to run free.

Florence was a good stop.  Hope we make it back some day.
