Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
The sign is seen as you enter the town.
There are something like 123 wineries in the Okanagan area. It's considered the Napa Valley of Canada. We spent one afternoon checking out a couple in West Kelowna. This is the first winery Kay and I stopped at.
This is the back side of the tasting room. I like all the big heavy timbers in the construction of this building.
This view of the vineyard was taken from the balcony of the tasting room.
Still green but looking good
Mission Hill was the second winery we stopped at. The grounds here were so beautiful.
The entry arch at the winery.
The bell tower.
Our wine tasting host was Robert, a very friendly person.
We ended up buying two bottles of wine. Have not opened either one yet.

Another view of the entry arch from the inner courtyard.
A look at Lake Okanagan from the bell tower.
All the vineyards were so green and full of grapes.
Kay and I love going to the local farm markets.
One of the days while in Kelowna we did an agi-tour. Our first stop was the Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm.
The following pictures are of the gardens here.
This is part of the herb garden.
The lavender sure did smell good.
Here is Kay's flower and bee picture. The following pictures were taken as we strolled through the gardens. Many different and beautiful flowers.
This is our second stop on the farm tour.
We did get a jar of Noir honey.
This was the third stop on our Kelowna Farm Tour. Goat cheese really has a different taste. Kay picked up a small package of a type of brie cheese.
Some of the goats resting in the barn.
This is the last stop on the farm tour. The cherries were awesome and the ice cream was good too. We bought 10 lbs of cherries, a lot of them are in our freezer.
Me holding the 10 pounds of cherries.
Now here is the interesting event of the tour. After Kay and I finished our ice cream and got back to the truck, Maxwell and Zoe had found the cheese in the truck. They ate about half of it. We hope they don't get sick by doing that little trick. It was my fault for putting it in a place where Max could find it.
