On one of our driving tours just before we went over the Bay Saint Louis bridge we found this drilling platform. We thought it was interesting enough to share with you all.
We like to drive around the countryside just to see what we can find. We found this shipbuilding yard on one of these drives in Mississippi. Looks like a aircraft Carrier being worked on.

A look at the campground as you come around the corner of the bayou.
Alligator Lily
Happy Marty
Also Happy Kay
This is Cathy one of the people we met at the campground. This is her first time in a kayak. I think she is hooked on kayaking.
Frank also his first time in a kayak. He also is hooked big time.
Kay and Cathy and the dogs along Wolf River as Frank and I head back to the launch site.

As you leave Gator Lake, on TLC Island we found two osprey building this nest. We sat for a long time watching them at work.
This is a shot of one bringing in some sticks.
I got this one eating a fish
You can see the fish in one of its talons. Look at the size of the one with nothing in it.
This is break time from building the nest.
I don't know what kind of turtle this is but we got very close to him before he dropped into the bayou.
Kay loves to take pictures of butterflies. She had to take about 20 shots before she got a good one.
We stopped at a restaurant in Pass Christian called The Half Shell for supper. I had a seafood pot pie, which was very good and Kay had shrimp. For desert I had bread pudding with a brandy sauce and Kay had keylime pie. Good Stuff.
