Mears, Michigan
We took a tour of the Silver Lake Dunes with a company call Mac Woods. This is our tour driver Weesey.
Crossing the bridge was the entry to the dunes trail.
More sand, and a look at Lake Michigan
There are a lot of dead stumps all over the dunes.
Kay and Me leaning over the back of the dune car.
It was a bit cold this day.
Kay and Me are looking west over lake Michigan for the sun. No luck.
There was a magic chair on the beach, where one could go back to one's childhood.
We saw this going down the lake. I know I would not want to be on it. There are some times that six foot waves will blow on this lake.
Here is the dune car, and all the people that went on the ride with us.
A look at the dunes and Silver lake in the background.
I did get a chance to get this picture of the sand snake.
The fall colors as we crossed the Termite Bridge on our way out of the dunes.
After our trip on the dunes, we drove up the road to visit
the Little Sable Lighthouse. This is the front of the light house.

We drove up to Pentwater to a craft fair. The guy I am talking to, Don, made some beautiful furniture. Kay and I got a new end table to go between our chairs.
One can sure tell it is fall in this country.
Most of the boats are out of the water in dry dock.
