Back to my brother's home in Sebeka, MN, for another eight days of fun and games. It is so nice just to park the camper in Jim's yard. This way we just have to walk out the front door of their home to the front door of our home. One of the best things about that is, I can sleep in my own bed each night even if we stay up late to play games. We sure are going to miss not being around them for a while. But We will be back, because we fell in love with northern Minnesota.

Bev's dad used this tree as a fence post many years ago when the tree was very young. You can see a piece of barbwire that the tree grown around. |

After I got home and blew this picture of the white chicken up, I saw that it had a snake in its mouth. Now that is something that I have never seen before. |

Jim getting his hair cut just like mine. I told him that I would pay for both haircuts. It came to $10 for both, but I did give the barber a $10 tip. |

Kay getting the tomatoes ready to freeze. Bev had so many of them in her garden. |
Bev supervising the kitchen. |
Bev taught me how to make apple pie filling. This batch is for a 9 inch pie, 3/4 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, pinch of salt, 1/8 tsp of nutmeg, and 1/8 tsp of cinnamon. Mix it all up in a bowl and that pack it into a zip-lock bag, than lay it flat in the freezer. I made enough to make 4 pies. |
Time to get out of MN, the trees are already turning colors. |
Jim had to take Bev's car to the local mechanic to have a new water pump put in. |
